Germany - Bielefeld to Cologne

The Rhine River, seen here in Cologne, is one of the major European rivers which starts in the Swiss Alps in Switzerland and flows through Germany and the Netherlands on its way to the North Sea. It is a very impressive 1230km long and has long been used as an essential means of transport.
